Web Site Building for Non-Professionals
I am very glad to announce the first step of a very long journey. For a year, I have dreamed of writing a book about web development. Finally, the dream has begun!
I have worked in web development for 11 years and learned many tips and tricks for building websites with little effort. Now the time has come to share that knowledge and help people create their own web projects.
The best possessions are the ones we make ourselves. We are happy to own them, have full control over them and, finally, not pay for them. I was very passionate when creating my first website (DEK), as I knew nothing about web development. It still works 11 years later and provides real value.
The goal of this book is to help small businesses build their own websites. There is no need to pay a huge amount of money for a valuable site that helps your business.
The final book price will be as follows:
- e-book "Web Site Building for Non-Professionals" - USD 45
- paper copy "Web Site Building for Non-Professionals" - USD 55
The book-funding campaign will run on the Indiegogo platform for the next two months. The page for the "Web Site Building for Non-Professionals" book can be found here, and all pre-orders can be made there during the campaign. Everyone's support is highly appreciated, especially sharing ;)
Thanks!
Anton

With Codex, we built RainCheck, a tiny framework-free weather app using TypeScript, SCSS and Vite. It works offline with saved forecasts; the reusable AI PWA playbook came afterwards, distilled from the working app and its real-world trade-offs. See the project page... and open RainCheck.
I have not made websites for a long time, but some of them have survived the years...
